In this week's show, we go over the stimulus package that was just passed and what it means. Of particular interest is the guaranteed income over the course of the next year to families with children. Without a doubt, this is something that Democrats will wish to make permanent. We also talk about inflation, as it is on a lot of people's minds. We continue to err on the side of it not being a worst-case scenario. A lot of the inflationary pressures are transitory. We discuss how some parts of the economy actually inflated during the pandemic and are now going into a more deflationary period. For instance: used cars! We wrap up this talk with a discussion over the massive opportunity in the emerging markets that will unfold over the coming decades.
